Beekeeping Refresher Course

Half Day Course – £85.00 (10.00 am – 2.00 pm)

This course is designed for anyone who has already attended our one-day or two-day Introduction to Beekeeping course and would like a refresher. It will be held before the start of the beekeeping season and therefore will not involve the handling of bees.

The course will cover the following topics:

Bee Basics – the stages of the life of the honeybee
Hive Basics – the parts of the hive, how they are used and when
Hive Inspection – when to do inspections and what to look for
Swarming – how to recognise swarming and what to do.
