Description
Honey comb is the most natural way of eating honey and in our opinion the only truly ‘raw honey’. We take the combs from our hives based in the North Cotswolds, simply cut out sections and put them in a box. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
The texture and taste of comb honey varies according to the flowers upon which the bees have been feeding. Most of our comb comes from either our borage or sainfoin fields, but as the bees fly freely throughout their area we cannot guarantee the exact flowers from which the honey is made. This means that our comb honey is like fine wine in that it is different from each apiary, each season. This is what makes honey so wonderful.
The full frame is exactly as it is taken from the hive. It comes with a wooden frame inside the box to let you display the comb as a centrepiece on your table, once you have placed it on a tray to catch the precious dips of honey.
